Going Green

Arclinea San Diego, a full-service kitchen design firm and distributor of the Arclinea Collection of contemporary Italian kitchens, has announced that, in addition to historically using non-toxic paints and lacquers, [the company] has fully converted to a water-based finishing system. Resulting in an even cleaner manufacturing process, this system also surpasses local and global environmental legislation standards.

The company also employs other green initiatives to ensure eco-friendly practices, such as the reduced consumption of raw materials, the use of recycled and recyclable materials and green manufacturing strategies that include an energy regeneration plant in its Italian factory, which turns production waste into fuel.
