Everything revolves around the central island
where meals are prepared and cooked, only to shift readily
towards the adjacent dining area that lies in expectant waiting.
The central stainless steelworking island features a hob and
double bowl sink and is supported by a 10 cm plinth that recedes
on all four sides, allowing the body to come closer to the
worktop. Outfitting of the base units is completed by a two-drawer
dishwasher that is more comfortable, easier to load, more
economical since washing can be divided. The kitchen and dining
area are connected both visually and logically without any
clear-cut dividing lines. In this combination, Convivium is
separated from the dining area by a subtle filter consisting
of two sliding doors in natural oak. Besides defining spaces,
the doors complement the boiserie constructed in the same
wood that frames the entire setting.
